Who we are

BETTER EARTH INTERNATIONAL (BETA) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization with registration number 328/G.37/D.19/1/VOL132/OAPP.

A community focused organization with one goal: To empower and sustainably improve the living conditions and the environment of our target groups (mainly women, children, vulnerable youths and disadvantaged rural communities).

Our Vision

A green, peaceful, conducive environment for living which enables children to live life to their full expectations, enjoying the same resources, facilities and opportunities without jeopardizing the state of the earth and that of humanity for future generations to enjoy same.

Our Mission

Making sure women who are pregnant deliver safely, children go to school and have access to portable water, they do not go to bed hungry and live in a peaceful environment free from protection issues and not affected by climate change

WHERE WE WORK

While our programs target primarily children, we operate and work in Cameroon. The chief geographic area of intervention is the South West, Littoral, but operations can be extended to other regions when need arise

OUR APPROACH

 

Our approach target primarily children as primary beneficiaries and women as secondary beneficiaries. We do understand that using a community-based approach that addresses the larger needs of whole communities will greatly impact positively on the lives of our primary beneficiaries in a sustainable way.
